WILD SOCKEYE SALMON
Wild sockeye salmon is one of the most sought-after of the salmon species. Sockeye salmon meat is firm and fatty, making it rich in omega-3 fatty acids. This gives the meat a rich flavour that rivals the flavour of king (Chinook) salmon. Sockeye has the reddest flesh of the wild salmon species. Their raw meat is a bright-red or orange-red colour, which remains red after cooked. Sockeye is low in sodium and a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, niacin, vitamin B12, and selenium.

YELLOW FIN TUNA
Sashimi-grade yellowfin tuna is a premium cut of fish known for its vibrant ruby-red color, smooth texture, and mild, clean flavor. Served raw and thinly sliced, it’s a favorite in Japanese cuisine for its freshness and delicate taste, often enjoyed with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.

OUR STORY
Seaborn was founded in Vancouver in 1983 during Japan’s economic boom, initially catering to Japanese tourists visiting Canada with popular souvenirs like smoked wild salmon, maple syrup, and seaweed with fish roe. The company expanded quickly, opening branches in Toronto, Montreal, Banff, and other cities.
By 2000, Seaborn began offering premium sashimi-grade seafood to Japanese restaurants and local residents in the GTA. In 2012, Seaborn Toronto became independently operated, relocated to Scarborough, and continued building a strong reputation while expanding into the local market. Today, it offers hundreds of high-quality seafood products.
